Fostering Dialogue in a Changing World
In accordance with our goal of offering our public the tools to reach a clearer and wider understanding of the constant economical, political, and cultural changes reshaping the vast geographical space of Eurasia, we aim to further the qualitative growth of the IFME. In this light, the maintenance and development of our website and other assets is vital. Such platforms allow us to grant more visibility to our publications and contributors, as well as permitting us to organize conferences and symposium bringing together experts, academicians, and institutional actors.
Independent Analysis
The IFME views itself as an independent think tank and research group that is mainly dedicated to the study of the various political and cultural spheres making up the geographical space commonly referred to as Eurasia. In this perspective, we assert our goal to be free from any influence that would jeopardize the honesty and intellectual pertinence of this project.
Such independence is a prerequisite to ensure that the organization will be able to deliver credible insights on the multiple topics that are at the heart of our projects. An appeased and factual discourse based on academic credibility and integrity is necessary to contribute meaningfully to the furthering of research related to the Eurasian space.
Our team members and contributors come from various horizons and each have a plurality of unique insights and opinions in their respective areas of expertise. We take pride in this diversity. This plurality of views is to be understood as a guarantee of our dedication to factuality and intellectual emulation, and do not contradict in any way our policy to strictly verify the pertinence of any material published under the name of the IFME.
We finally guarantee that the partnerships that currently exist or may exist in the future with companies, others Think-Thank, or governmental agencies do not compromise in any way our devotion to the research of truth and objectivity. We only pretend to bring our assistance and perspectives wherever it may be needed, and pledge not to act as the mouthpiece of any particular group of interest.
Academic Rigor
The IFME asserts its attachment to academic rigor for all material produced by its members and published under its name.
The IFME does put at the disposal of its members a set of clear and transparent guidelines for each article's format. These guidelines take the form of separate, as well as general redactional guides. Internal formations related to the research, redaction, and editing methodologies are also provided for by our team members to any contributors that manifest his intention of working with us.
Furthermore, we assert that any publication or article published by the IFME is rigorously discussed internally before validation. This dialogue takes the form of a back and forth exchange between our editorial team and contributors, in order to ensure the seriousness and pertinence of any content published under IFME’s seal.
DOI
Digital Object IdentifierIn accordance with our objective of positioning the IFME as a rigorous project and a name synonymous to quality and reliability, the association has ability to grant academic publication a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). A Digital Object Identifier essentially acts as an identifier for online resources, greatly facilitating the research of content benefiting from it.
As such, not all of the submissions accepted and published by the IFME are to benefit from it. The organization is creating an international scientific committee composed of university professors and certified experts in several fields of expertise. This committee will have the responsibility of singling out and discussing the more interesting publications, in order to grant them a DOI under the umbrella of the IFME.
It is to be clear that not all types of submissions will be eligible for a DOI. Literary reviews, briefs, and short articles shall not be considered, only submission following the format of an academic publication will be discussed.
The IFME is putting its credibility at stake with each awarding of a DOI. These guidelines must not be understood as a lack of faith in our contributors and publications, but as a guarantee that will ensure the further recognition of the organization as a whole.
